Doodh Peda/Milk Fudge

Marking our third anniversary I have some special dessert for you all.
This dessert turned out to be my daughter's favourite. Quite excited I am that she asked me for this sweet more and more. As such she is not having any cravings towards desserts. She eats sweets that I prepare but never more than one. Very happy that she repeatedly asked me for this when I gave one for her to taste. Wow she made me very happy. My effort behind was worth it. This sweet needs much of your patience as you need to be very cautious as chances of getting burnt is high.
Here I introduce doodh peda/milk fudge recipe.

Ingredients:
Milk powder- 1 1/2 cup
Condensed milk- 250 ml
Sugar-1/2 cup
Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp
Ghee-2 tbsp

Recipe:
Heat deep bottom wide pan add ghee.
Once it melts add condensed milk, milk powder and mix well so that there are no lumps.
Keep mixing on a medium heat. Take care by stirring continuously as there are huge chances of burning at bottom.
Continue this until it forms a lump and finally a dough which just sticks to your spatula and holds your spatula upright.
When it is at the stage of forming dough do reduce heat to low and mix so that it doesn't burn.
Transfer it to another plate and let it cool completely.
When it is cooled fully add sugar and cardamom powder and knead well into the dough.
Apply some ghee on palms and pinch out small balls from dough and make them into round, smooth balls in between your palms and mildly press them.
Now to make indentation on peda/fudge, just using the back of a knife make shallow or superficial marks on one side of the peda/fudge.
You can very well garnish with any dry fruits of your choice.
I like plain milk fudge. So didn't garnish.
Enjoy the dish! n don't forget Eat and Eat little MORE.. :)
