Don't you think a cold evening is incomplete without a perfect snack and a glass of hot masala tea ?
I remember my hostel days when I used to eat Bread Pakodas for the evenings..
I gave a try and yumm was the result.. :) Lets together prepare this snack today evening
Bread Pakodas

Makes 16 pieces
Ingredients:

4 firm white bread
1 cup gram flour (besan)
1 tablespoon rice flour
1 teaspoon salt
Pinch of asafoetida (hing)
1 teaspoon cumin seed
2 finely chopped green chilly
1/4 cup chopped cilantro (green coriander) (optional)
3/4 cup water
Oil to fry

Recipe:

Mix besan and rice flour.
Then add salt, cumin seeds, hing and water and prepare a smooth batter.
Then add cilantro(optional) and green chillies.
Mix well and keep aside.
Now cut the each bread piece into 4 triangular pieces after removing the edges of the bread piece.
Heat oil in a deep bottom pan in a medium flame and deep fry the triangular bread pieces after dipping them in the batter.Properly coat the piece with batter before dropping to oil.
Fry till golden and remove them to the tissue paper to take away the excess oil.
Sprinkle chat masala if you wish to!

Enjoy the dish! n don't forget Eat and Eat little MORE.. :)
