Veg Frankies

Hi.
Back yet again with a savoury recipe.I was little bored to prepare my lunch today.In the evening I was so hungry that I wished to have something that could take my hunger away as well as something different than normal fried items.So thought why not prepare Veg Khatti rolls/Veg frankies.
Come lets prepare easiest and yummiest veg frankies!

Veg Khatti Roll/Veg Frankie

Ingredients:
For dough:
1 cup wheat flour
1 cup all purpose flour
Salt to taste
Water
For Filling:
Grated carrot- 1/2 cup
Cabbage- 1 cup
Onion-1 finely chopped
Green peas-1/4 cup
Turmeric powder/Haldi- 1/4 tsp
Garam masala-1 tsp
Chat masala-1/4 tsp
Soya sauce-1tsp
Chilly Sauce-1tsp
Tomato ketchup-4-5 tsp
Ginger garlic paste-1/2 tsp
Black Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Oil- 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Garlic dressing
Recipe:
Dough:
Mix the ingredients for dough and knead well with required amount of water to form a stiff dough.Let it rest for a while.
Filling:
Take a pan or wok and add 2 tbsp of oil to it.
When hot, add ginger garlic paste,fry till raw smell goes away.
Now add onion and toss well.
Once translucent add carrots,cabbage and fry.
Now add turmeric powder,black pepper powder,garam masala,chat masala and toss well.
Now once the veggies get tender, add salt, soya sauce,chilly sauce and ketchup and give a toss.
Now add tender green peas and toss again.You are done with filling.

Preparing the rolls/wrap:
Heat a pan.Take a small ball out of the dough which had been resting for a while and roll out a chapatti and bake it on the pan either sides by smearing little oil on either sides.
Note:If you find preparing the rolls or wraps difficult, you could use store brought wraps also.
Once done take the wrap on a plate, add the filling you prepared, add garlic dressing on top and roll over tightly to for the veg roll.Enjoy as it is or with tomato ketchup.
