Onion Bhaji

Indian dishes are known for their flavours and uniqueness. A simple tasty snack is Onion bhajee which is by itself a tasty snack to munch on as well as to eat as a side dish for any rice items prepared.
I don't remember how many times I ate this, but this is something which my mom would prepare in a jiffy if she has to entertain our unexpected guests in the evening along with a cup of tea.
I remember having learnt this simple snack from mom. A very quick yummy snack is ready in a  matter of 15 minutes.I love to prepare them as it is the most easiest and crunchy snack that could be prepared in no time. Here I share with you all the recipe of Onion bhajee

Ingredients:
Onion-2 or 3 cut into roundels
Cumin seeds-1 tsp
Ajwain/Carrom seeds-a pinch
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Redchilly powder-1/2 tsp
Hing/Asafoetida-pinch
Besan/Chickpea flour-1 cup
Salt to taste
Water as required for batter
Oil for deep frying

Recipe:
In a bowl mix all ingredients except onion, water and oil.
Now add water little by little to make a lumpfree batter of dropping consistency.
In a deep bottom pan heat oil.
Dip the onion roundels in the batter prepared and drop into hot oil and deep fry till golden brown
Remove them off to kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
Enjoy this crunchy snack with ketchup or as it is in the evening with a cup of tea or as a side dish in a meal.

Enjoy the dish! n don't forget Eat and Eat little MORE.. :)
