Spiced Butter Milk

Our days to visit India is approaching! We are delighted and are very busy with full fledged shopping. Our saturday shopping was real tiresome with our shopping and eating outside.
By late evening my hubby was so tired that he just requested me to prepare spiced butter milk, which we call 'masale majjige' in our language.
It is a very effective coolant as well as an effective medicine to clean up your stomach. In my native farmers and other workers who sweat in hot sun usually prefer to drink this in between their tiresome chores. Very simple my way of preparing spiced buttermilk which I learnt from my mom is as below

Ingredients:
Thick plain yogurt/Curd- 1 cup
Ginger-1/2 '' grated
Coriander Leaves -2 sprigs chopped
Curry Leaves- 1 sprig chopped
Green chillies-2 chopped fine
Water-2 cups
Lemon juice-1 tsp
Salt to taste

Recipe:
In a blender add yogurt, water, ginger, salt and just beat for 15-20 seconds.
Transfer it to a bowl and add curry leaves, green chillies, coriander leaves and lemon juice to it.
Mix well and if you want it little more tangy, can adjust with the lemon juice you add by increasing or decreasing the amount.
Your spiced buttermilk is ready to go.
Simple isn't it? But taste is awesome and unique.

Enjoy the dish! n don't forget Eat and Eat little MORE.. :)
